About Dr. Edward H. Weir
Dr. Edward Weir is a long time resident of West Islip, having graduated from West Islip High School. He has made a concentrated effort to provide the community with a facility that is equipped with the most sophisticated X-ray machinery and the most modern equipment and techniques. Dr. Weir brings to his office a deep sense of commitment and experience.
Dr. Weir received his Bachelor of Science degree from Stony Brook University and his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College. He currently holds New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut licenses and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. In addition, Dr. Weir is board eligible in chiropractic radiology and neurology.
Additionally, Dr. Weir has advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of whiplash and industrial type of injuries. He utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach, which includes working with doctors specializing in multiple areas, so that all patients receive the best possible care.
In order to offer his patients the most up-to-date treatment available in the field of chiropractic care, Dr. Weir attends numerous seminars to stay current on the latest advances in chiropractic. He has trained extensively and has special interest in the treatment and diagnosis of low back disorders of the spine.
